December scholarships
All students who complete Bachelors, Honours or Master's degrees at UCT in June or December and who display outstanding academic performance are considered for December Scholarships by the individual Faculties.
Recipients of these scholarships are notified of their awards each year in December.
The scholarships are awarded to encourage full-time study towards higher degrees, and may be held concurrently with other awards. Recipients who do not enrol at UCT for higher degrees qualify to hold these scholarships only in an honorary capacity.
