UCT AIR events news updates:

15 August 2010 Baxter Women's day brunch

Womans day brunchUCT AIR helped host the Baxter Women's Day Brunch, which invited all the ladies of the Baxter residence to come together on Sunday morning for a special brunch. The scene was set with beautiful flowers and a relaxed atmosphere. It was a great opportunity to tell them more about UCT AIR and treat them to a lovely event. UCT AIR also sponsored a prize for one lucky lady who won our raffle. Everyone enjoyed themselves thoroughly and one cannot help to look forward to next years brunch!

New Alumni campaign AIRborne

The Development and Alumni Department (DAD) has launched UCT AIR, aka Alumni in Residence, a campaign-which was two years in the making-that hopes to foster a greater sense of UCT pride among students. “The campaign aims to involve students and educate them while on campus about how great it is to be a UCT alum, and also to participating in our alumni programme once they have left campus" said DAD's Lungile Jacobs.

Standout features at the launch were the very visible UCT AIR posters and banners, and the Airmbassadors' clad in green T-shirts, who pitched the campaign to students. UCT AIR boasts a Facebook site UCT AIR, and can also be found online:UCT AIR website.Check out our pictures from the launch on flickr (Story courtesy of UCT Monday Paper)
