UCT exchange student missing, presumed drowned

The Vice-Chancellor, Dr Max Price, regrets to announce that one of our American exchange students, Terrence Davis, is missing and presumed drowned after he was washed into the ocean off rocks at Harkerville, between Knysna and Plettenberg Bay. Indications are that he was with four other Semester-Abroad students when this occurred on Monday, 1 September. The other students are safe.
