Nogapsbetween's career takes shape

Nogapsbetween, a four-member rock band, has won this year's UCT Launch Your Band Competition. The group, made up of vocalist Aaron Jaffe, drummer Daniel Beck, guitarist Steve Kimmel and bass guitarist Adam Klass, won a R20 000 recording contract sponsored by Sound & Motion studios, as well as the opportunity of opening the 2010 Rocking the Daisies Festival at the Cape Farmhouse Scarborough in October.
Nogapsbetween beat Stealing Larry in the final, and both had the honour of supporting the band Prime Circle in the final at the V&A Waterfront recently. The Rag-organised event is an epic music competition that provides a platform for unknown bands to showcase their work. The event also allowed RAG (aka Remember And Give) to raise funds for its major beneficiary, the Students’ Health and Welfare Centre Organisation (SHAWCO).
