 February saw the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Department of Electrical Engineering and the Center fur TeleInFrastruktur (CTIF) at Denmark's Aalborg University. This will create a framework for collaborative research and staff and student exchanges. CTIF director Professor Ramjee Prasad attended the signing and was hosted by Professor Mqhele Dlodlo of the Communications Research Group. Prasad is a prolific author and editor-in-chief of international journals on wireless communication systems.
