UCT representatives network in Spain

 Dr Loveness Kaunda and Lara Hoffenberg, of UCT's International Academic Programmes Office, and Varkey George, director of SHAWCO, were in Madrid, Spain, to represent UCT at the 21st annual European Association for International Education conference, held from 16 to 19 September. The conference was an opportunity for South Africans from a number of universities to meet their Spanish counterparts. The delegates were welcomed by the South African ambassador to Spain, Vusi Bruce Koloane, at his home for a traditional South African braai under Spanish skies.
