2nd Annual World Tuberculosis Day NanoSymposium

Eight out of 10 South Africans are said to be infected with TB. In commemoration, World TB Day will be observed on the 24th of this month. And the following day the IDM will host a NanoSymposium featuring researchers and scientists speaking on all things TB. Continuing from last year's conversation, speakers will address the different interventions that can and do occur at the various points of the disease's cycle. Visiting from MIT/Harvard Professor Bryan Bryson will speak on his work combining new technologies with classical approaches.
