Funding for postdoctoral research

The Postgraduate Funding Office (PGFO) at UCT administers fellowships and awards made to the postdoctoral research fellows (PDRFs).

Funding opportunities

The PGFO receives information on funding and other opportunities. This information can be found in Section 5 of the financial assistance for postgraduate study and postdoctoral research booklet (no 14, download on the right), and is posted on the postdoctoral-funding noticeboard.

The granting of tenure and administration of postdoctoral researchers at UCT is guided by the university's policies on postdoctoral research.
