Media liaison
UCT's media relations team and newsroom communicate to internal and external audiences about university programmes, research, and the activities of faculties and staff. We work closely with UCT's executive management in planning the release of news and information to both the UCT community and our diverse external audiences.
Our proactive media relations campaign profiles UCT in the local, regional, national, international, professional and specialist media. We publicise events, successes and innovations; write, target and issue news releases; brief journalists; respond to journalists' and media researchers' enquiries; and promote UCT staff as expert commentators on TV and radio.
