Overview

The Disability Service supports equal academic access for disabled students in the following ways:

• advocacy and advice on any issues related to disability
• consultative and counselling support for students and staff with disabilities
• advising on academic adjustments and reasonable accommodations and providing specific services
• resource centre: literature and material relating to disability studies and disability research available to all staff and students. Material may be taken out on loan.
• physical access: a wheelchair guide map of the upper campus is available
• text conversion and assistive technology, including text conversion into Braille, electronic format, voice recording
• providing technical assistance
• parking for disabled students and staff
• facilitation of exam accommodations for disabled students
