Explosions

Try to determine

1. Location(s) of explosion(s)
2. Casualties (how many and how serious)
3. Location of fire - if one has started

Action

1. Inform Campus Protection immediately on: 021 650 2222 / 3.
2. Inform the fire brigade.
3. Inform the ambulance service.
4. Inform the building emergency controller.
5. Ensure that area is totally cordoned off and kept clear.
6. Be available to give assistance to emergency services personnel.

Please report any incident that happens on the campus to CPS - even if there is no injury or damage. UCT will need to investigate the incident in order to prevent a similar occurrence.
