Power failures

1. Find out whether the power failure is campus-wide.
2. Inform Campus Security 021 650 2222 / 3.
3. Check lifts for persons that may be trapped inside.
4. Assess the amount of natural light in the building.
5. Evacuate the building if there is not enough lighting to do hazardous work.
6. Keep an account of all staff in the working environment.
7. BE AWARE: The emergency lights only have limited life.
8. BE AWARE: The fire evacuation system only has limited life.
9. Obey all instructions from the buildings emergency controller.
