Try to determine
- Location(s) of explosion(s)
- Casualties (how many and how serious)
- Location of fire - if one has started
Action
- Inform Campus Protection immediately on: 021 650 2222 / 3.
- Inform the fire brigade.
- Inform the ambulance service.
- Inform the building emergency controller.
- Ensure that area is totally cordoned off and kept clear.
- Be available to give assistance to emergency services personnel.
Please report any incident that happens on the campus to CPS - even if there is no injury or damage. UCT will need to investigate the incident in order to prevent a similar occurrence.
