Engineering services
Engineering Services repairs and replaces existing fixed fittings. Requests for new items and non-building-related equipment are not part of our service. In the event of problems the Properties and Services (P&S) helpdesk should be contacted on: 021 650 4321 / 2. The helpdesk will log the call, issue the caller with a reference number and provide feedback on a regular basis.
The P&S department is responsible and accountable for all building operations at UCT and is, as such, authorised to halt and make good instances of building operations that have been undertaken without the necessary authority.
The engineering services department is divided into different maintenance areas and is managed by the engineering services manager.
