Institutional Forum
The Institutional Forum is established in terms of the Higher Education Act, 1997, and advises the Council on matters specified in the Act.

The forum consists of:
The terms of office for each member range from 1 to 3 years, or for such periods as decided by the vice-chancellor.
The Institutional Forum also elects 3 co-chairpersons, 1 from the members elected or appointed by the Council, the Senate and the Vice-Chancellor, 1 from the members elected by recognised staff bodies, and 1 from the members elected by the SRC.
Its membership is determined by Statute. For 2023 its membership will be:
