The university has in past years trialed the implementation of a course on environmental sustainability targeted at all first-year residence students. This was not successful and not repeated in 2024.

However, each of the university’s faculty programmes have an element of the SDGs built into their programmes, and as such there is generally a high awareness amongst students of the SDGs. While this does not mean that every student will learn about every SDG, they will likely have some exposure to some of the SDGs.
